Students at William F. Elliott Elementary School in Cerritos were thrilled to receive a special visit from PRN Ambulance and St. Mary Medical Center on Monday to kick off the school’s Community Helpers Week. The week-long event began with a day dedicated to EMS professionals, making PRN an ideal fit for the unique educational opportunity.
Four PRN EMTs –Amir Abdalla, Samuel Lewis, Noel De Leon and Salvador Trujillo – arrived at the school in uniform and in two ambulances, giving a “show and tell” presentation alongside a nurse from SMMC. The children were able to spend time in the ambulances to see all their bells and whistles while learning about safety from their new EMS heroes.
Thanks go to Elliott Elementary for having PRN Ambulance on campus, the students who attended the presentation, St. Mary Medical Center for working with us, and our two crews for representing PRN as well as EMS!
